Dear Donors and Friends of TC4KS,

As 2023 draws to a close, I would like to express my gratitude for your unwavering support of our association. It is with great pride that I share with you the highlights of the past year and our ambitions for the year ahead.

The year 2023 was marked by some extraordinary events for our young talents, in particular the 32nd Sea Games, held for the first time in Cambodia. Thanks to your generosity, dozens of children took part in this event as volunteers or ball boys, supporting their elders who won two magnificent bronze medals for Tennis Cambodia. Another memorable moment was the participation of two young Cambodians in the ITF Junior Futures Finals in Phnom Penh, an opportunity made possible by your support. Also at the 28th Tep Khunnah Memorial, our young players competed brilliantly in the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-18 categories. The matches, played in a round-robin singles format, were an enriching experience for the ‘kids’.

For 2024, we are committed to a number of initiatives, including the purchase of a tennis court in Kep and the reopening of our school.

We also want to support Pelu, a 12-year-old orphan from Battambang. Pelu excels in both tennis and football and had been recruited by Real Madrid before the pandemic thwarted her plans. Pelu now plans to continue her studies in Phnom Penh while continuing to play tennis. Another protégé, 12-year-old Ratanak, also needs sponsorship to compete in tournaments and earn his first ITF points. His goal is to participate in as many international tournaments as possible in the U14 category, with the ambition of becoming the first Cambodian junior to achieve an international ranking. In 2023, Ratanak had an exceptional performance at the U18 National Championships, finishing third, a remarkable achievement for a player who usually competes in the U14 category. Your contribution will be crucial in helping them achieve their goals.

Finally, on behalf of the entire TC4KS team, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy, peaceful and healthy New Year. Thank you for your generosity and solidarity with our beneficiaries. Your commitment continues to make a real difference in the lives of these young athletes and we hope to count on your continued support in 2024.
